Do you ever watch TV shows and try to dress like your favorite characters? Well, if you said yes, here are some classic TV shows whose character's fashions majorly affected the fashion world.

Disney has always been a par tof all our lives at one point or another. Many of their
TV shows inspired clothing lines, like Hannah Montana. But the most influential would definitely be Wizards of Waverley Place. Alex Russo's, which is played by Selena Gomez, unique but cute punky look, that later turns into a very spunky, stlyish woman, is a perfect example of a transformative style.

Black-ish is a TV show on ABC which aired in 2014. This show is a perfect example of modern urban fashion. The show is about a wealthy black family, the Johnson's, that get through every day struggles of being a black family in white America. Every character in the sitcom has a distinct look. Being female, I find Rainbow Johnson, the mother, and Zoey Johnson, the daughter to be the most fashionable in the show. I'm constantly admiring their clothes through the seasons and improving my personal wardrobe based off theirs.

Friends is on of my all-time favorite shows. Even though the show was made in the 90s
it still is influencing people's fashions today. In its prime, Rachel Greene was an icon.

Everybody wanted to look just like her, head to toe. Many of her outfits were based on her current employment. From her job at the central perk, which was a classic 90s look, to her later working in the fashion industry. Giving her a sohpisticated appearance. This gave the audience a wide range of outfits to be inspired by.

For older women, Sex and the Cty was gospel. Although I wasn't old enough to watch it at its prime, the fashion statments were very predominant. I remember seeing multiple photos of the character, Carrie Bradshaw, in a long pencil skirt and a pair of six inch heels. The show made Sarah Jessica Parker, or Carrie Bradshaw, a fashion icon. Women couldn't wait for the next episodes to come out, just to be able to see what she was wearing.
