For most people, their skin is one of the deciding factors that sets their mood for the day. Each phase of life, and each person’s complexion, brings with it its own unique set of needs. It’s important to look at yourself, not comparing anything to others and just focus on being as healthy as possible at whatever age you are. If you and your complexion are needing a little boost, I put together some of my tips and tricks that may help give yourself the happiest face possible. If you seem to feel like you need extra help and everything you’ve tried isn’t working for your skin, you could always try to consult a dermatologist and do skin assessments to specify your own beauty needs!

1. Get Some Rest

The key to not looking tired? It's…not being tired. Try to do whatever you can do to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep can offer the best kind of results.

2. Massage in your Cleansers

While washing your face and putting moisturizer on, use gentle pressure and massage it into your skin in a circular motion. It helps get your circulation going.

3. Wear Sunscreen

Protecting yourself from sun damage will make you feel better now and later on in life. Wearing sunscreen can help prevent so many things, including skin cancer, wrinkles, and sunburns.

4. Exercise

A good workout doesn't just burn calories, it also helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin.

5. Stay Hydrated

Drinking six to eight glasses of water a day is very important for your skin.

6. Give your Skin a Break Sometimes

Lighten up your makeup routine or even go bare-faced. It’s important for your pores to be exposed to actual oxygen and can breathe.
