It was December 31, 2017, also known as New Years Eve, when I realized I didn’t have a very interesting year. So, I thought but looking back at my pictures I had done so much in the past year and had a lot of really good times! This made me think of ways I can better remember my year. I went on a hunt around my house to find a box or jar that I could put all my memories in (you can decorate it however you want if your that creative type). Once I found a mason jar I cut out about 1.5’x4’ slips of decorative paper. Then every day I have a good or bad memory, thought, or idea I write a short description and put it in the jar. You can also print out pictures you’ve taken. This may seem really easy, and it is, but it’s an easy simple solution to remembering all the times you’ve had when looking back on it. I don’t know about you guys but there has been so many occasions where I start something kind of like this and only get a couple days in but with this remembrance jar I put it right next to my bed with a pen ready so it’s easy to write a sort something down and if I’m not near my jar then I can just write it down in my notes and get back to it. It can also be a goal starter thing, you can put the number of slips that you want an activity written down in your jar and say you will accomplish that number. This will make you go out there and do some fun or new things. Make 2018 a great year ;)
